Takamatsu (高松市) is a city located in central Kagawa Prefecture (香川縣) on the island of Shikoku (四國) in Japan. It is a port city located on the Seto Inland Sea (瀨戶內海). Takamatsu is a city with a large concentration of nationwide companies' branch offices, which play a large role in its economy, and it contains most of the national government's branch offices for Shikoku.

Direct flights connect Takamatsu with Taipei, Shanghai, Hong Kong and South Korea, and it's also a convenient place to make connections to Singapore and Bangkok. It's also easy to get Takamatsu by transit from Tokyo Haneda/Narita airport.
